Khalsa Chiropractic Phone Working

Dear Patients:

Yay!  I finally got the office phone (626-345-9750) turned back on.  You can use it to cancel appointments or leave me messages, but do not request appointments unless you do not have internet access or are confused by the procedure.  If so, I will get back to you and help you  through this.

To make an appointment, go to the website at http://www.khalsachiropracticpasadena.com or the direct link: https://appointments.mychirotouch.com/?clinic=KCC0001  Save this link so you can use it when you want to make an appointment in the future.

If it is your first time, register and then in a day or so you will get a confirmation of your enrollment.  Then you can make appointments.  If you find the invitation that I sent earlier, click the link in the email and you can make an appointment right away.

So remember TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT GO ONLINE.  TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT CALL 626-345-9750.

WHAT TO DO IF THERE ARE NO OPENINGS:

Several patients will cancel the week before we are open.  They will do so by Thursday night because after that they will be charged a missed appointment fee.  Go online on Friday or Saturday and you will find some openings.  You can also call the office after we open at 8 AM to see if we can help you.

Thank you for your patience and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Humbly,

Dr. Khalsa

ONLINE APPOINTMENTS

Dear Patients:

We had our first full Saturday and it went very well.  I have set up the online appointment book.  Here are instructions to get started:

You should receive an email invitation to the appontment book.  Fill this out and you can then make appointments.  If you did not get the invitation, then you can register using this link:  https://appointments.mychirotouch.com/?clinic=KCC0001

You cannot cancel your appointment online.  To cancel, call 626-345-9750 and leave your name and the date of your appointment.  In order to give people some time, you need to cancel by Friday morning at 9:00 AM or you will be charged a missed appointment fee equal to the cost of your usual visit, unless we get someone to fill your spot.

I know it will be frustrating if there are no free appointments and here is what I suggest.  Call occasionally during the two weeks to see if anyone has cancelled.  If nothing opens up then check again on Friday.  We will remove all cancelled appointments and this will open up slots for you to fill.

One ore important change.  You will enter through the front door on Foothill Blvd. If you are disabled and there is a parking space in back, then you can enter from the back.

I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

Humbly,

Dr. Khalsa

Online appointments and transferring phone number delayed

Dear patients:

Unfortunately, setting up the online appointment book and transferring our phone service to a new phone is taking longer than I expected.  It will all be running next week.

Until then, if you need to cancel an appointment, please call my cell phone at 626-824-0958.  Remember that there is a missed appointment charge if not done by Thursday night.

If you want to check for a spot that has opened up, then call my phone number Saturday morning at 8:00 and Sat Mitar will check if there is an opening for you.

See you soon!

Dr. Khalsa

Introducing Dr. Ivonne Ferendell, D.C.

Please, forgive me for so many emails this week, even some duplicates.  Several patients did not get my recent emails, so I will be sending them two different ways.

Also, you will receive another email later this week explaining how to make an online appointment and where to go for your Saturday appointment.

Introducing Ivonne Ferendell, D.C.

When I decided to partially retire, I started looking for someone to care for you when I am not available.  You are like family to me, and I want you to receive the best care. I wanted to find someone who was a healer as well as a chiropractor.

I was so blessed to find Dr. Ivonne.  She has been a healer for many years, and she does many of the same techniques that I do.  I am training her to duplicate what I do, and I am amazed at how natural this is for her.  She recently gave me an adjustment, and I felt like I could not have given myself a better adjustment.  I am very confident that she will give you the same great experience in healing that I have.

She will be seeing patients at her office in Altadena at 1911 Lake Avenue and works Monday to Thursday with some early and late hours.  You can make an appointment with her by calling her at (626) 945-0011.  Your first visit with her will be longer so she can get to know you and do an exam before she gives you an adjustment.  She normally charges $150 for this but as a courtesy to me, you will only pay your usual fee for a visit.  Here is more information about her:

My name is Dr Ivonne Ferandell-Villarino, D.C. but you can call me Dr. Ivonne.  I have been doing healing work for the past 20+ years, first as a massage therapist and then as a Doctor of Chiropractic.  I focus on structure, biochemistry, nutrition, and emotions – and how they are all interconnected. I come from a family line of healers and was exposed to the healing arts since early childhood.  I even saw Dr. Khalsa when I was a child.  (Small world!). I feel very grateful and honored to carry on the legacy of Dr. Khalsa’s’ work. I look forward to meeting and supporting any who wish to continue their healing journey.

Dr. Khalsa reducing hours – every other Saturday

Dear patients:

I have been in practice for over 44 years and I was planning on retiring this year. So many of you, sensing that this was going to happen, told me I better not ever retire. I am very flattered and honored, and instead of retiring, starting in September, I will be working every other Saturday from 8 to noon. I am closing the office upstairs and working downstairs. (Yay, no more stairs!) I have also found a local chiropractor who I am training, and she will be able to see you when I am not available. She has been adjusting me and I love her adjustments. I will have more information about her soon.

Office visits will be more focused: To see so many of you, our time together will be focused on adjusting and healing: no politics, sports, weather, etc. Also, I don’t want you to feel rushed, and instead of going over new symptoms at the visit, you can send me an email in advance. You will have unlimited email at no charge for concerns, questions, and new symptoms. But there will always be time for hugs!

Appointments: You will be making and cancelling your appointments online. Because appointments will be in demand, I will be charging for missed appointments. You will have up to Thursday night to cancel without any charge. If you cancel late and the appointment fills, you will not be charged.

Payments: All credit cards will be stored securely, and I will process your payment at the end of the day. You will give me cash and checks directly. If cash, I probably will not be able to give change so extra cash will be applied towards your next visit.

New patients: With this new schedule I will not have time to do a new patient consultation and exam. New patients will fill out their intake form in advance. I will read it before the visit and get right to work when they come for their appointment.

I know this is a lot and you will have questions. Sat Miter will answer your questions and you can set up a no charge phone call to talk to me. As I get more details, I will let you know about making appointments and about the new chiropractor.

I am so honored that so many of you have chosen me for so many years. It is hard for me to do this, but my guidance tells me it is time. Thank you so much for all of the support and love that you have given me over the years.

Humbly,

Dr. Khalsa
