First Visit

Your First Visit to Our Pasadena Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home!

Jordan will greet you when you enter our practice.

Jordan will greet you when you enter our practice.

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Make Yourself at Home

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot behind the building. You’ll be greeted when you enter our office by Jordan or Elvia. If you’ve already completed your admitting paperwork, great! If not, we will have you fill this out.

We Explain Everything First

You will then be taken to our exam room and Jordan will find out more details about your current health challenges. She will share this information with Dr. Khalsa who will then perform a chiropractic examination to determine if he can help you.

If he suspects that you might have subluxations or nerve interference, he will have his assistant finish the exam with a computerized scan which will show patterns of stress in your nervous system. The scan is 100% safe and non-invasive with no radiation involved. Every step will be explained to you in advance.

Set Up Your Next Appointment

You will then set up an appointment to come back in a day or so for a report of findings with Dr. Khalsa. At that time, he will answer four questions for you:

  • What is the underlying problem?
  • Can he help?
  • What is it going to take?
  • What is it going to cost?

Often, people want to get an adjustment on the first visit. The reason that Dr. Khalsa does not do this, is simply that he has no idea if he can help you until he has had time to study your health history, and correlate this with his exam findings and the results of the scan. If you are in pain, he will make some suggestions as to how to naturally relieve some of your pain at home.

Your first visit will usually last about a half hour.
